Easy progression run. First mile in 7:00, so I must have been feeling fresh from the time off. Came through the next few in the 6:20s, then 6:15 and 6:05 to finish. No stress at all, just felt strong and easy. Good run.

are you going to follow a lydiard type base training program and how will you structure your training in the coming months?

I have been following a Lydiard type training plan for the last two years, so, yes, I will be continuing that.
The next few months will be mostly mileage with some regular pace variation. That is, if it's anything like last winter.
