1:12:06 :: 10.25 miles + hills

Easy running with three hard hills, all on the treadmill. Did 2+ miles outside before giving up and having to come inside due to slick conditions from fresh snow atop black ice. Did .45, .35, .25 mile hills at 12%, 12%, 15% incline respectively with two miles easy between each. Really quite difficult. Focused on quick turnover with good form.

12%, 12% and 15%.....

I thought you were training for Fargo not Big Sur.

Best of luck with your training.
The numbers for Fargo are up from last year, 826 for the marathon and 1446 for the half.

see you in May

I wish hills weren't such good training...they hurt.

826 isn't too bad with 70+ days to go. 1000 should show up on race day, easy.

Stay warm.

Snow over black ice gives me the willies just reading about it, nasty stuff indeed.

Nice work on the hills. Be careful not to tip the tread over at those inclines.
