So, you had a nice recovery week and you are ready to put in a workout tomorrow. Since you are not going to sneak in a fall marathon, what's next on the schedule?
A few shorter races. First, a 10K here in town next week. Pretty low key. Next, in mid-October a 15K in Fargo. I'd like to get under 50 for that. I think the course record is something crazy like sub-48! Then finally, the Veteran's Day 8K XC race here in town, which I will win this year, finally, damnit!!! I'd also like to get a fast time on that course, which would be anything under 27:00. There are some really nasty sections on the course, as well as some big, steep hills. It's not a fast course, but it is fun.
Thanks for asking. I should probably put a race schedule out on the blog somewhere, but where's the fun in that?
